Hi, I had the same problem on two different infrastructures.
It came out that was the NFS, trying to manually rm -rf the directory ended up in an error unrelated to zimbra.
The /opt/zimbra/backup was a NFS mountpoint so the default value of zimbraMailboxMoveTempDir (/opt/zimbra/backup/tmp/mboxmove) was on NFS too
Switching zimbraMailboxMoveTempDir to a dedicated directory owned by zimbra:zimbra, on an ext4 or xfs filesystem solved.
